Listening to the stream now and it's jarring. Half way through Yellow so far and I am disappointed, though it's not horrible. Also, does anyone else hear Nickleback or some other generic radio shit when they listen to Take My Bones Away? I swear the vox on that track sound just like Chad Kroeger.

"Also, does anyone else hear Nickleback or some other generic radio shit when they listen to Take My Bones Away?"
I was more concerned that I can hear the same (well, similar) vocal melody to "Crocodile Rock" near the end of "Back Where I Belong". Check the bit around 4:11.
It's all a bit too pleasant this album so far, probably a 3.

Haha, yep that's the bit. I keep expecting a LAA LAA LA LA LAAA bit just after it.
Yeah that Twinkler does sound like Opeth as well, quite a few bits from this album that remind you of something.

loved red and blue, got a baroness tshirt, saw them w/ mastodon and btbam and thought baroness stole the show. so far this album is a let down and i doubt i'll be coming back to it too often. maybe i'll recommend it to my brother who likes radio rock.

I'm one listen in. Yellow sounded pretty good. Eula is a great song. Green seemed indie as the dickens. Stretchmarker was pretty awesome though.
