Be prepared for a headache...
Yeah, it could easily be better (but The Hard Sell didn't impress me much); Ascension had some amazing songs and some forgettable ones

"Music prorgrams and guitars etc etc etc etc are all instruments. The music program stuff though isn't as respectable."

And dont get me wrong, i program drums for my band too. But i do realise that programming drums is not equal to be a drummer. Therefore, i cant say im proficient at drumming. Im not. Im still a musician, but no matter how incredibly well my drums may turn out, i could never be compared to Tomas Haake or someone of that level.

Thread is silly.

If you like the music then why do you care what other people think?

I like this, and honestly, I couldn't give a flying hippo's ass on what you think of it.

LP is still good IMO, ATS was great, loved the experimentation.

And as for the person that made the assumption of rock/metal/jazz being the only good things to listen to......really? Ambient. electronic, pop, shoegaze, indie, synth etc.

Open your mind up.

It was me who went that way, but i did not say that. If you read the stuff you will get it.

I respect all musicians and fans, regardless of genres and tastes. I've been around for a while, and i'd put my dick on a blender if one user in this site could present me a sentence i wrote offending a fan, or a band, or an individual involved in a band. Whenever i talk is to voice my opinion, and if i do criticize or patronize, its in a constructive way and with cause.

I enjoy a big part of djent, but bands like hacktivist are bad and the shitty metalcore groups that uses djent in a bad way like woe is me and attack attack are even worse.

Agreed, but the Hacktivist part. I loved their EP. Feels fresh to me. Go figure.
