I think this is easier to listen to as a whole, but the s/t has more standout tracks.
Nothing really beats the title track here tho.

This album is so weird for me. I think it's really good, but if I listen to it for extended periods of time, I get really annoyed for some reason. Whether it's the repetitive rhythms of What We Had Was Never Love or the painfully overdramatic lyrics of Conversations With Dirt, something always pulls me out of truly digging this.

title track here can happily sit as their best song for all eternity and I'd be fine with that. it's even better live

I haven't listened to these guys in a while. Kind of lost interest after Pilot Waves. May have to venture to the back catalogue again soon.
T/t is def one of their best.

Been wanting to check out this band for a while and finally took the plunge! A lot of this seems tailor made for me, but a lot of it didn’t quite catch my attention (with the exception of the opener and closer). Excited to check out the rest of their discography though!

They are a pretty fun band. Vocals can be a tad irritating sometimes, tho.

Agree with S/t being the best!
Man, I usually like his vocals, but sometimes, I am just not in the mood for them.

his voice is always what i'm in the mood for. he's obviously not the best vocalist in the world but idk that timbre is just something i can always appreciate

vox are fine, but fire both guitarists asap
title track is like an amalgam of all the generic riffing tropes already trodden by loads of other bands except somehow even worse
terrible songwriting chops too, hooks fall flat on the face and never manage to take off

yikes, i have never found so much to disagree with all in 1 post.
these riffs are what inspired me to pick up a guitar lmfao
