i wholeheartedly agree. this album has such a unique style to its songwriting that sets it above so much of its competition. i am seriously perplexed how anyone could call it "generic" bc holy shit, songs like "lightning crashes" and "white, discussion"...there is no parallel. compared to other bands of the time, i put this waaaaay above Ten
