I see very few similarities between this and Linkin Park, of old or otherwise.

Can they rip off PTH any harder.

Okay, so I listened to it and I kinda like it. I can kinda see the Protest the Hero comparisons. The clean vocalist annoyed me the most, he seems way out of place. He also tries too often to pull off a Linkin Park chorus or something.

Aside from the vocals I really don't hear anything that justifies calling them a PtH rip off... at all. If PtH came out with an album that sounded like this I think people would probably be shocked. Very different styles for the most part.

Most people on this website don't realize that though because, they have hard-ons for other bands (mediocre bands at that) and if another band comes in and sounds even remotely similar to their hard-on bands they will freak.

This album was pretty good but, I don't think that Periphery has really found what type of music they like to play. Once they find a good direction they will be great but until then, they will sound very random to me.

Yeah.. I thought they sounded like PTH and Linkin Park too. More of the latter than the first though.

I'm indifferent to this album. Did nothing for me at all.

Logical fallacy: overgeneralization.

This album really exceeded my expectation based on the promo tracks. I really feel like if this album had been released as a debut by a completely unknown band, it would've been received quite differently around here.

I didn't like it that much. I haven't listened to anything else they did.

Going to put it out there. Masamune's ending is some heavy shit.
