This album always struck me as "a quality piece of music" as opposed to "a quality piece of bm" which could be why you see people who aren't that big on bm (such as me) itt.

Aye, I can see that. I would fit that criteria also. You usually have to twist, contort, rip up the BM formula for me to take notice
Scarcity - Aveilut gives me those same out-of-genre vibes and has attracted a fairly diverse set of folks too (limited sample size, sadly)
