"I don't think Waka Flocka Flame's ever going to top Flockaveli just because that album was so revolutionary and game-changing"
I'm sorry, but I really can't tell if you're joking or not.

@Buzz: whether or not you like the album, it's one of the most most pivotal rap releases in recent
years, to the point where you can tell whether or not records 2010-up are post-Flockaveli.
"i feel like youre a butthurt fanboy."
the neckbearded sleuth caught me!

Does this apply to the rapping, production or both?

both. in terms of rapping it brought back the importance of charisma and mic presence in the game, which it was lacking for a long time. And in terms of production, it not only changed trap/southern beats (with its stripped-down but aggressive style, and the ridiculously fast snare rolls), but virtually changed the style of all rap beats.
the only bad thing about Flockaveli's influence is that while it did a huge amount of good for changing up the game, it also spawned thousands of Waka Flocka/Lex Luger soundalikes and the sound is really starting to saturate.

While “Flockaveli” was littered with appearances from lesser-known Bricksquad members and the occasional star (Pastor Troy, Wale). Times, however, have changed.
You forgot to combine these sentences/finish the first one. Just removing the "While" works too.
Really great review man (pos'd)

Thanks for pointing that out dude, will edit when not on my phone. And thanks to Gabe for articulating why Flockaveli isn't worth hating.
