Never understood how can people put this on same level of "Slanted and Enchanted". By this point, Sebadoh was all about experimentation in quantity, not songwritting quality. They would get a lot better after Eric Gaffney left the band, i assure you.

Everything pre-Bubbles sounds like demos and unfinished ideas to me. I know that is how lo-fi is supposed to sound, but when you are familiar to polished music it is really hard to get into lo-fi recording, even if i can identify melody all over it.
Thats why Bakesale and Harmacy are my favorites sebadoh records. They sound complete.
