We both knew this would happen.

This is pretty cool though I agree Ana Kefr are better. This is pretty bloated at points. Vocals are pretty average too. "Of The Leper Butterflies" rips though.

Yeah, I don't see that much simarilities. Apart from the whole mashup with some symphonic stuff sprinkled in here and there part.

I haven't listened to Portal of I yet, but it's gonna take a hell of a lot to dethrone Ana Kefr in terms of technicality and
originality.
Hopefully, this doesn't disappoint.

"and
originality."
Ugh, please don't go there. We've been over this.

"Ugh, please don't go there. We've been over this."
No we haven't, I don't see what my statement on originality has to do with the similarities between this and Ana Kefr.

It doesn't. And I never said it did, but this whole "originality" shtick often just winds up with nonsensical blathering. It's too vague & loose of a term to use it as determinant for "quality".
Despite this I'll have to say that I don't see that much "originality" in both bands. They're good, but sure not "original".

Thanks, Captain Obvious.
It's not like I just said the exact same thing in a more descriptive way, duh.

Taking into account that most metal bands simply repeat a formula while adding only few improvements, bands that create a synthesis of so many sub-genres while adding elements from other genres such as jazz or flamenco are so rare in comparison that they can be perceived as original.
Whatever YOUR definition of "originality", I still maintain that I most likely won't enjoy this band as much as Ana Kefr making the latter better, in my opinion.

It's pretty easy to be truly original. It's just that 90% of musicians choose not to be, or faslely believe they are, when they clearly aren't.

Great, enlighten us since you seem to have the eternal wisdom of the total meaning of "original".

Yeah, so what? By definition:
a. Not derived from something else; fresh and unusual: an original play, not an adaptation.
b. Showing a marked departure from previous practice; new: a truly original approach. See Synonyms at new.
3. Productive of new things or new ideas; inventive: an original mind.
4. Being the source from which a copy, reproduction, or translation is made.
I don't see it. Stuff has been done before. Taking a huge part of musicians out of context and saying what they do in comparison to what one band does who represents also a larger part of musicians is not really an argument. If we wanna go on a level of specific argumentation we gotta be specific and also look at circumstances, not just go with some kind of blanket statement generalization.
