In Absentia is the clearly the best representation for Porcupine Tree. lol being 15 must be
awesome.

Its gawd catchy choruses n stuff how dare I conform to such juvenile pleasures. I'm 28 asshat but thanks.

Fear of a Blank Planet is the only one that really contests it Deadwing is kind of lame in comparison to be honest.

28? Damn dude, I guess we can't all be modern prog elitists with three Dream Theater albums 5'd.

Yeah man Dream Theater is for mountain dew guzzling grade-schoolers Godspeed You Black Emperor with

their groundbreaking 10 notes per minute pacing is where it's at.

Ugh for fuck's sake, notice how that was a friendly jab instead of a full blown assault.

The first one had a cool vibe to it, the other ones I don't care for at all. Maybe I'm just not elite

and trendy enough to hear the magic in them.

You need to refine your Trolling strategy Baseline go back to pretending to like My Arms Your Hearse or something to make your alias more believable.

Album was quite boring. Maybe it'll sound much better on the home theater system, but it was boring on headphones.

I feel asleep after the first two songs. Ok, I didn't, but I should have.

Two songs in and i had to stop, this is really disappointing coming from two of my favourite artists.

The first two songs and "Lock Howl" are the best.

On "Hag", things just turn from boring to laughable. It's like "Weakness" from Damnation if it was twice as slow and the melodies sucked. What they hell was Steven Wilson thinking? You get a couple minutes of the most lifeless melody put to record in 2012 and then "that trademark atmospheric keyboard sound" comes in trying to create some sort of dark mood. Real creative. So of course after that intense build, he decides to go and hum the one boring melody. Awful. Pure awful.

Don't get all the hate this is getting it was a good album, it wasn't meant to blow you away, but more of a very nice spiritual album.

Listen to Gazpacho's new album. It's like this album. Only a hundred times better.

Spun this last night but passed out halfway through it. Which, strangely enough, means i was liking it a lot!
4 hour drive ahead of me today so it'll get a proper listen in the car.
Been off Opeth for ages. Dig some Porcupine Tree from time to time but respect both musicians. Cool to see them do something completely different!

fuck this is boring. These guys make 20 minutes feel like an hour. I feel that these guys are artistically falling out.

This is arogant/elitist music at its worse. Good lord this sucks.

I think that mr. wilson's voice is weak, but the back end of ljudet Innan is plesant (guitar wise).
