Album Rating: 5.0
I think the hole point of their music is that The Rasmus never set out to fit any mold in particular, and this album is not some kind of " recuperation" of something lost. If you listen carefully each album that has been released has its own sound its own vibe. The reason the Rasmus has survived this long is becouse the don't have a fear of evolving and change, and are not afrad of taking risks. They are in it for the music and their love of it, not to fit a certain type of genre. Yes the album is different in comparison to Peep, Intro, Dead Letters, etc.... But I think if they had kept to one sound they would have become stagnant and that potentialy the end of the line. Its like if I said, you like pitzza, then thats all you can ever eat! Would that not be boring??? Same with music no one likes just one style, its human nature!!! It is wrong to pigeonhole!! In the way of the lyrics for this album, I think that they are just as powerfull as in the previous. This certanly stands true for Save Me Once Again. I ask anyone to read them and not to feel the despair, pain, and hurt, the writer is bearing in the lyrics. I think that listeners need to open their minds, put aside preconseptions and just go with it. Every album is a jurney, and every jurney brings with it its own changes. Not for any reason just cos it does! - But then this is just my opinion, and I think they did a great job!!!
