I LOVE Geddy's change of mind in this album. In an interview said he wanted to "rock it out more" but the thing is that if they hadn't change roads they probably would have become what Yes became in the 90's: forgettable and uninteresting.

Everyday Glory makes my heart tingle. I'm especially obsessed with the "another everyday story" response in the chorus.

Cranked this album last couple days. My favorite “bass guitar” album, any band is Moving Pictures. This album is my second favorite “bass guitar” album in the Rush discog.

At last, properly digging this LP on Remastered 2013 japan version. The opener is a strong start. Love it. The guitar solo in Alien Shore is hook able, short and perfect.

Leave That Thing Alone, guitar play on this is pure Alex.

Lifeson guitar work is in front just right. Superb.

Seems underrated. Album is really really good. Opinion coming from an old school fan that grew out of my teenage years with them. Idolizing Moving Picture. I'm recently digging all their LP and loving late works more now.

So much powerful groovy melodies in this album.

~~~I saw Rush for the first time in 1976. I saw them for the 12th time in 2005. The band has evolved and grown in that time as evidenced by each album. The true Rush aficionados has embraced every effort the way a mother embraces her flock of a dozen children; loving each one in its own way.~~~
Old 2006 post that I agree with, totally.
Incredible album, and easily the best thing to come out of a relatively underrated era for the band
This album is great! Definitely the most 90s alternative based album Rush ever made.
Geddy called Alien Shore the most overlooked song of their career when I saw him yesterday.
Not the best pick ngl.
Yeah like...Everyday Glory is right there Geddy come on. He also thinks Dreamline is Rush at their best, much better pick.
