I'll second Terria and Accelerated Evolution but personally I'd also like to throw Infinity in as a next stop. It's pretty underrated and I think it has a nice mix of early Devin and stuff he'd go on to do later (Bad Devil is a notable one off the top of my head).

I'd listen to City by SYL after this. Came out the same year and, while it shows the "heavier" side of Devin, it isn't as far removed from Ocean Machine as some make out. And, like Ocean Machine, it's a 5/5. Then I'd listen to Terria, which is his third 5/5 record.
