Underrated, but not amazing. But such a good debut LP.

Album is pretty good (Yeah I know my rating is low but that's because I'm a harsh rater) not a fan of everything on here. After track 3 (And aside from swamp song) I can't get into this.

I disagree w/ your con though. Disgustipated remains one of my favorite songs on this record. but I agree that Intolerance and Bottom own.

I'm probably the only person who likes this more than Lateralus (although that is still a great record).



Aenima owns them all though imo, that album has the perfect balance between the raw, angry sound of this album and the progressive, atmospheric vibe they'd explore more on Lateralus

Nice review, and completely agree with it being great for a debut. I heard this after both lateralus and Aenima which may have skewed my opinion of it, but i don't think it's as impactful as either of those.
