I don't think I ever told this story, but this album literally broke my ass. When it dropped in 2008 I went on a hike at night to jam it, and I wound up listening to it 3 times in a row in a secluded park while swinging on a swingset. It was a fantastic time. I wake up the next day and my ass cheeks are just destroyed. Pulled pork. Couldn't move for like 2 days.

Good times

I don't think I ever told this story, but this album literally saved my life in high school. One day the bell rang and I left my final class of the day, only to go outside and find a bunch of fellow students recreating The Battle of Epping Forest. It was chaos, I tell you! Chaos! Some students even gave themselves nicknames like Liquid Len and Bethnal Green Butcher, as they trundled the parking lot with weapons aplenty. Bloodshed everywhere. I knew I had to do something. So I dragged some massive speakers into the parking lot and started to blast Supper's Ready at full volume. It led the remaining survivors to call a truce, and we all basked in the majesty of classic prog. 420 people died in the conflict, leaving behind 69 survivors. The rest of the school was never the same, and this conflict would forever be known as The Battle of Epping Forest II: Electric Progaloo

Good times

Interesting stories.

In what concerns to me, this was my first purchase. When I was a teenager, my parents offered me a turntable and the only album that interested me in that store was Selling England. As you can imagine I didn't have much money at the time. I think I was 16. So, it was my only LP during several months. Due to that, I listened to the album many times per day. I have no problem in saying that surely I litened to the album more than a hundred of times. With time it became my fetish album. I really love the album. It became probably my favourite album ever.

Great times.
