Btw,

lol, I wasn't doing exact math bro. I just glanced at the ratings, pardon for being 0.3 off :P

I wasn't trying to be condescending there, or criticize you. I was just pointing it out, and further reinforcing your argument that this wasn't a 5/5 review (I bet you hate hearing that, Zehan XD)

As in math, 5/5 obviously means 100%, but as a general rule I try to avoid such descriptors as "best" or "perfect" when approaching art. Cultural perceptions vary, but as I've stated, there are more variables at play here, such as sentimentality and the like. By your logic (which does make sense, mathematically) can you honestly say there's such thing as a "perfect" album? Plus, the 5 could always be a rounded number as well.

A 5/5 is equivalent to a 95% or better. The system goes like this.

1/5 (0%-25%)

2/5 (35%-45%)

3/5 (55%-65%)

4/5 (75%-85%)

4.5/5 (85%-95%)

5/5 (95%-100%)

A 1/5 and a 5/5 are the only one's that break this chain. (since there is no 0.5/5 or anything above 5/5). This is how I think of my album ratings and base them on.

can't think of any instance where dividing 5 by 5 you will get anything other than 1, so that whole system is invalid.

Well you round as well. There aren't just 10%, 20%, 30%,... 100%. There are 45%, 68%, and 95%. And your rating is very correct... in your opinion. Glad it got any rating at all.

Edit: I changed a couple things about this album. I changed the album rating to a 4.5/5 BUT I realized people don't ever want to see a classic rating in a review, so I'm just going to rate a 5/5 in my opinion as a 4.5/5 on the review, but it'll show 5/5 over my name on this comment (I hope). That's my true opinion. I also took off the TBT at the end because no one seemed to like it.

I define a 5 as:
-considered to be a gem in the genre
-innovative or unique in some way
-cohesive with direction
-no skippable moments, all songs are amazing

I don't think this guy is an alt because he seemingly tries on his other reviews.

I just want to know what a hans alt. is because my last name is Hansen and it just seems ironic. Didn't know if you knew my last name. And I try on all my reviews, I just don't want to rewrite my old reviews, so I'm posting them periodically.
