IDK that run is somehow vastly different when it instead starts and ends with London and I Will Remember, respectively. It's this beautiful, fucking haunting thing that I've struggled to accurately describe for basically ever. Absolute excellence.
Holy fuck I can't believe how much I adore this band even thirty years later.

^theyre playing this and the ep in full on tour lol
ngl I’d definitely prefer they just do Mindcrime all the way through but this is cool

They’ve done that many times though
|

true true but I never got the chance to see it.
For sure it’s cooler for most fans that they’re doing something like this over playing Mindcrime in full because they’ve done it a million times

I would rather them continue to highlight DNA because it’s a great album!

the new stuff just isn’t the same to me.
I mean it’s way better than anything they did with Geoff going back to like, Promised Land probably, but it just doesn’t hit like their older records

I mean they literally can't play Mindcrime in full, ever again.
Unless of course they reunite with Geoff.
|

oh it’s a lawsuit or something
Fuckin Geoff. alright they can cut out Waiting for 22 or Anarchy X I guess but I won’t be happy
|

This is better than I remembered.

NM-156 is amazing.

^can't get over the chorus riff in that song, plus Tate's godly performance.

Tate's singing in No Sanctuary is something else man, he almost makes the atmosphere by himself

^ It's wild. The ahh ahhhhhhhh vocal chorus parts are my favorite thing in that track.
This tour is here saturday night, but I'm not sure I want to go out. As much as I would love to hear Lady in Black and Child of Fire live (think I've heard the rest) I don't particularly love the venue and I'm nearing the point where this band might be best left holding down the pinnacle in my heart rather than seeing 2/5 do their best to reproduce some of it live.
If it was a todd-ryche tour I'd have been there for sure, though.
