I love this album, but Sam's Town is just the best album by these guys hands-down

Sam's Town has such a cool feel, but I've never been able to really get into it, I need to give it another chance. Same thing with Day and Age, minus the cool feel part.

Hey hey, no time to be cocky young grasshopper

Crymsonblaze, Day and Age was pretty bad. It had its highlights but it felt so forced and overblown most of the time

Yeah that's the impression I got, granted I only listened to it once when it first came out. I really liked Human, but everything else seemed like a retread of that.

How can it be "decent but annoying" and still be a 2.0, that sounds more like a 2.5 rating.

Either way, I don't like this band's new albums, but I will probably really like this one.

I can appreciate the Killer's love for the music even if I don't especially appreciate it

Oh do you now?

Their only good album here. Well, a few songs on Sam's Town are really good, but this is more consistent I think.

I wonder if this band will ever write a song half as good as "When You Were Young" again.

when you are young is a great song but not much else matches up on that album

This albums is just drenched in little beads of brilliance. Also, yeah, these guys are one of the very few bands where I actively pine for the days of old. "When You Were Young" is so unequivocally a tune. So is practically everything on here.
