"There are too many bands in the world."
Well, if there only had to be 1, then Gaslight Anthem "coulda been a contender".

That it is.

So I've never actually listened to anything by The Gaslight Anthem...
This is unacceptable.
I'm intrigued to hear "House of the Rising Sun"

Well, I guess that is what this site is for... To send henchmen after you if you don't listen to great bands like TGA.
All 4 covers are intriguing for different reasons Emim.

Was almost gonna correct you there, but then I recalled the loose definition of an album.

Hehe.
Hey, you're the one who was referring to al's bum.

Well, The Sputnik Collective has tried to... Every time they release an album. As for this EP however, it slipped through a mighty big crack.

I'm starting to doubt that TGL are capable of creating a mediocre song or butchering classic tunes unlike puddle of mudd who may have made the worst cover album ever to reach my ears.
This is how it's done!

Ditto... Although the comparison to Puddle of Mudd is near blasphemous.
Then again, I'm intrigued by this horrible covers album I did not know about.

The problem with bands as good as these is that when they make a bad/average/mediocre album people just blow the whole fucking thing out of proportion. Like the new Say Anything.

Haven't listened to that album as yet, but yes, high expectations are a b!tch. You won't be disappointed with this EP though.
