Enough with FOB hatin', its getting kind of old. Just take this as what it is.... a well polished pop punk album, that didn't expand much from their other LP.

Track 11 is the only good track I have heard of that album.
I know it doesn't mean fiddly effect filled guitar solos and basic bass and drum playing combined with mediocre songwriting. Something more along the lines of memorable tunes mixed with tasteful instrumentation, ala Fallout Boy. You'll see the light eventually.
I hate how ridiculously long their song titles are. As well as there music, as well a ketchup.
|

long song titles aren't funny. they should stop because its lame.

Good review! I actually enjoy this CD but that may have something to do with that I'm actually a fan of the genre.

They're in the upper echelon of mainstream pop-punk, so they're a lot better than plenty of other radio rock stuff.

...No, they suck^. But that's just me.

Oh you're such a silly little metallicaman. You secretly listen to these guys all the time. Don't hide it.
Sophomore Slump is still a really good song.

I'm yet to find out how to distinguish this band from any other pop-punk mainstream teeny band - pretty ordinary is all that springs to mind

I enjoy how kripes convenniently ignores all the bad stuff written about this band on the comments page. Which is one way to go about handling criticism (probably the best way to do it when the band being criticised is Fall out boy).
This band annoys me for two reasons other than they suck: A. The are posers and 2. Every one who likes them is brain washed to think this band is original and new
Those of us who know our music history know that their has been a cornicopia of bands in the past who just comform to make some easy money.
Now I understand Kripes that you will read this (you do have 90 bjillion posts) and you will probably see the need to make a stand by posting a nasty comment about myself or my mother. To this I would say "Fire Away".
This comment was out of line. I know it probably doesn't mean much now, but i have only recently come to my senses. So I guess it's cool if you like FOB and i like what I like. Your comment brought back what I said, and i guess I regret this.

Dude I saw these guys on SNL and they were bad. Maybe if they spent more time practicing their stuff and less time working on stage moves to impress 13 year olds.

You hate FOB, but love Panic!, I do not see that happen a lot. Intresting....

At risk of arguing with a twelve year old girl, what is the difference between that title and P!ATD's "There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet"?
And no, I proudly do not like either band.
