This is my favorite album of 2012 so far (near perfect). Not only did "Beyond the Veil" completely change the way I saw these guys, it is easily the best song (not made by Devy) I have heard since The Great Misdirect. I think it is fitting this band is closing shop after releasing such an amazingly well put together album.

For me, it is. :P And it doesn't hurt that crap like Koloss and L'enfant Sauvage put me in a bad mood. And, yes, for those who actually enjoyed those records, I hate them more than anything else this year by a long shot and I am rabid fan of both bands.
Anyway, my opinion has hardened a bit, but it still is the best of 2012. Then again, I am not Kvlt so maybe that is why my taste is so shit. :P

I can see how you feel that way. A lot of the album is drawn out like a lot atmospheric and post work so if you aren't digging the sounds, it isn't going to float your boat.
