i hate this album, so predictable and so irratating. vocals sound so stale and the solo are, omg the same as the verses. only good songs here were crab for its nice effects and island in the sun because its so smoothing

It's got this mainstream rock feel to it, not a laid-back alternative feel
I have to disagree on that one, It just feels different. Every Weezer album released is a slightly different style and we complain when an albums the same, and we complain when it's too different. Nobody's ever pleased anymore.

When I listen to this album, all the songs mush up together. Too many of them sound exactly the same, almost like they're manufactered. Anyway, Island in the Sun is the best song on this album.

I actually really like this album, it's my favourite of the 'modern' Weezer records. I can't stand Island In The Sun though.

I like this album, A LOT. It in fact was my first weezer album. I didn't get why people would downtrod this so much... and now that I have all weezer albums... I still don't see why people downtrod this album.

This is my only Weezer album so i had no expectations when i got this, but i really do like it alot. I Know Pinkerton is meant to be awesome and perhaps i shall get it sometime. To conclude that ramble, i am trying to say that this is good album. It may not be as good as the others but it still has some really good moments.

I feel like this album was a sufficent comeback, but it did one thing which I think ruined their career fan-wise. As soon as "Hashpipe" came out, thats when many tween-girls and teen-girls started thinking "Wow! This new band is awesome!" and they have no idea that they were actually around for 7 years before that. It all goes downhill from this album, but this album does deserve a respectable 3.5/5, because it is a pretty good album. As for the arguement, 10 years = decade, 10 divided by 2 is 5. 1996 to 2001, 5 years. !!!=w=!!!

Theres alot of catchy songs on here, one of my least favorites being hash pipe. I don't know why so many people like it. Its always being played for football games and movies and crap.
