Been in a PM mood and may give this a shot, and yeah finding power vocalists that dont annoy is hard

Khan and Heiman. Hansi also. And that's it

Of those, Heiman is very annoying to me, but I think Lost Horrizon is waaaaaayyyy overrated. Ive found some other vocalists that are good but from lesser known power metal acts.

This is definitely worth a spin, it's not cheesy PM at all. More prog and metal oriented with some nice Latin influences

I find Japanese power metal vocalists tend to sound less cheesy for some reason.

Kamijo, Yama-B, and Fuki are some of the my favorite PM vocalists ever (I am not an expert on the genre so take this with a grain of salt).

Also might 5 this but want to wait for the honeymoon phase to wear since I just discovered it

Dont forget toshi. The Japanese language kind of suits it IMO.
Angels cry and Rebirth are probably Angra's best but this was their most ambitious.
