Anyways, thanks for the feedback everyone. I don't actually take good or bad reviews to heart. I think more than anything I find them interesting. But it's dangerous to let good reviews boost your confidence or bad ones rattle it.

Given the praise you get around these parts by some of my favorite users I always give your albums a spin when they come out. It's just not my thing man. I've listened to it about 3 times now and while I like it more than my first go round it's just not something I can get into. Best of luck though dude. Take pride in the fact that you have a really supportive and vocal fan base from those who do. Every one I've run into (either on the web or in life) who likes you likes your stuff an almost insane amount. But what I will say is that I fucking love Texts from Bennett. So that has to be a plus in someway I guess haha.

^^ This tbh. I'm all for him expanding his sound, but his more angry music just sits with me better. I'd pay good money for a Mac Lethal album of all diss/shit-talking tracks. But, although I don't like the new stuff, I have years worth of old ML to jam with.

I don't take it personally at all, and you're right, my fans are enthusiastically hardcore. Couldn't ask for a better audience.



And yeah, the fact that you can get into Bennett totally evens us out dude. In fact, I am much more focused on what that can become right now than I am music. That's why I released the new album out of nowhere and didn't really promote it. Gotta focus on a book and/or tv show right now. Big things sir!
