i agree with yeti about talking about scores and stuff.



i just played age of consent again on youtube. what a great song. but it doesn't sound anything like love vigilantes?



also, i don't agree this has the same sound as the previous album, it's much more symphonic(?)... or something.



but nice review tom. looking forward to the rest of the discog.

Read my bit about Age of Consent/Love Vigilantes again - i mention that it may sound similar to newbies. You're obviously a fan like me so you'll notice the differences more easily. Again, i think you've read into my parts about similarity a bit too much and not noticed that i said that spinning the album longer and with more attention will reveal a band with a more confident sound, that touches further into darkness and light (pop).



But thanks for reading and i'm glad to see you enjoyed the review regardless. I've taken on board the dislike for scores discussion. I was trying to use it a foundation for my writing about New Order being rather opaque (in the best possible way), but i will try and frame it otherwise in the future. Cheers pal.
