Not a bad review at all. I'm not a fan of track by track, but this one works.
As for the album, I think its a cracking effort. I heard Coin-Operated Boy on 97X (ah the wonders of radio on the internet), and was instantly hooked. It was in a match off with some generic American rock, which of course duly won, so I was never to hear the song again.
Then, one day in HMV, having set out to buy 3 cd's from a list of 10 (topped by Tom Waits) I chanced across this album, which wasn't on the list. Remembering Coin-Operated Boy, I had to buy it, and it was certainly worth it. I know of no other Dresden Dolls fans, and have so far failed in my efforts to convert people, so its good to finially find other people who appreciate the awesomeness of this band.

I absolutely adore this band. I am currently obsessed with the song "Girl Anachronism". The Dresden Dolls have a very unique, cabaret sound that leaves me breathless.
