Heard a rumour Will Bevan would be on here somewhere...

Haven't you heard? He and El-B are putting the finishing touches on the new garage Bizkit album

I wonder if the reason why most of the guest artists here appear on multiple tracks is because
Korn planned for a 11-12 track album and had a whole bunch of people in mind who subsequently turned
them down

or they couldn't be bothered to get anyone else. everything about this album feels rushed. as far as I
know Korn only decided to make this album because of how successful Get Up was. Feels like they're
trying to milk it

Reading this comes across entirely as if you are justifying such a low rating by way of some kind of perceived insult to the genre, and by proxy, you the distinguished listener. Based on the few tracks I heard, I refuse to believe there are no reasonable expectations of quality met. The way you describe it apart from terms in relevance to the scene seems to be a bunch of generic tunes, at worst.

idk man this kind of sits uneasy with me

It's not that I see it as an insult to the genre (even though I do find this whole style to be an insult of sorts to the beginnings of the movement) and I'd feel the same way about this release had it been something wholly original. The music itself is terrible, but it's not just the that I find the music horrendous but how it's been approached and implemented. Everything here just feels rushed and half-assed, and the album as a whole seems to be nothing more than a cash cow and an attempt at relevance for the group

"Or maybe you deliberately omitted the r. Who knows.... dun dun dun"

he probably put in a backwards "R" which was consequently eaten up by the system

HEY wait a second! A Bottle of Scotch - And a Handgun doesn't even exist!! You're a PHONEY!!

To be honest I wouldn't mind giving this a listen however I've pretty much lost all my faith in Korn since Take a Look in the Mirror, one of the most ill conceived 'return to form' albums I have ever listened to. Oh, Jonathan. Will you ever learn!
