That's not real is it

cause naming your album 'Kentucky' must be the most un-kvlt thing I've ever seen

Austin is from Kentucky and as Hype said it will be a combination of bluegrass and melodic/atmospheric bm.

I'm still more hyped to hear his cover of Camel's "Song Within a Song", though.

The album isn't supposed to be kvlt, it's supposed to be blvegrass. There're only supposed to be 3

tracks with actual black metal on them, but they're the "longer" tracks, which I take to mean 7+

minutes each. So we'll still get a decent amount of fast melodic BM while we nom some trvegrass.

Hopefully the label approves his artwork soon so this thing can get to printing.

How's the trvegrass influence coming?

The album is structured in such a way that there's an interlude/long song/interlude/long song, and the bluegrass is obviously much more present in the interludes. It's still mixed in with the black metal, just not as much as I was expecting. Lots of clips of coal miners talking and singing.

Not actually something I would've expected from a BM musician, will probably get shitloads of hate for it. I wonder if he had serious or humorous intentions with that. (or something in between).

Might make for something interesting though.

I'm pretty sure he was dead serious about it, because he has pretty strong pride in being from Kentucky.

It's also pretty melodic, which I'm not complaining about at all.

Not sure if I could take him seriously as a person but if this is a good as you say it is it'll be kvlt.

I love his more experimental side. I liked Mortality and Collapse a lot more than most.
