Second weakest Cradle, but I'm a fanboy so I still really like it. m/

Same. I never got myself to listening to Manticore in it's entirety, I sense, if I do, it will be a tie.

Manticore is the best album they've released in a while. Solid 4 for me.

I've heard that a lot, but upon listening to the frist half of the album I found little to no
differences between it and their 2008-2010 output. Although "For Your Vulgar Delecation" was nice.

Got this a few weeks ago... it took me some time to get into this, but now I finally start to like it.

listen to their first 4, or aleast Cruelty. Best Cradle right there

Cruelty is a classic, but is my "least" favorite of the first 5 albums. Not like that means anything because I still 5'd it.
But yeah, I could see why it took you a while to get into this one. There's some filler for sure, but the good tracks are really fucking good.

I remember jamming Poison-Hearted and Pharaoh on guitar back in high school, just the right amount of complexity without needing that high of a skill level to play. Paul Allender was great but his exit was for the best, the band sounds better and fresher now than in years.

I'm gonna jam this after I eat something. It's been too long since I always choose a lot of the others over this lol.
This does have a few of my fav Cradle songs though.

Paul's guitarwork is so meh here

Yeah nothing too special and there's too much filler, but there's a few brilliant songs here so it warrants at least a 3.5 for me.

Album needs a re-issue, a pressing on vinyl an to finally get put on Spotify. Come on, Sony.

I don't dig that much the singles from this one, I find them to be weak tracks in here, nevertheless a great record.
