Solid review Thomas. As a few others stated, there are a few long sentences there, but I get the feeling that's your writing style. I wouldn't call it informal, but I practically can see you sitting down next to me telling me about the album. That can be a positive too... Just keep working on those sentences, I guess. You definitely continue to improve though, so well done.

Thanks Davey, I wanted to try out a more personal approach with this one, but it didn't work out all that well I think :]

Nah, it's fine... & sort of works as a compromise, as it doesn't come off too personal.

I would love to see this popping up in one of the official Year-End lists (Staff or Users).

Spread the word, gentlemen!

Solid review Ty my boy. Some parts were a bit too conversational for my liking, and I always disagree with placing a "recommended tracks" section in a review, but you are definitely getting better at finding your voice. Keep it up.

And for God's sake review KH before we start throwing things at you ;)

Wait... So Irving says that this is too conversational, while Davey and Xeno say it's well balanced between professional and conversational... *confused*

Oh well thanks Irving and scissorlocked (nice rating man ^^).

- Last sentence in the first paragraph doesn't fit there. Put it at the start of the second paragraph.

- 'so perfect it's almost silly'

Change to: so-perfect-it's-almost-silly

- In second paragraph's last sentence, delete "even though".

All in all a good review! Sentences should be shortened, and this can be accomplished by being more succinct, and writing with bigger words.

Fix'd, thanks Pizza, I'll continue to work on those sentences :]

Goeie muziek maken ze in Belgie ;)

I really like this, been wanting to check out dEUS for some time, will have to get to In A Bar... and The Ideal Crash as well. Curious how those compare since this I'll be moving chronologically backwards.

Their best two.

Yeah, so I've heard. Even though they're our southern neighbours dEUS is the only Belgian band I ever recall specifically hearing about.

Yeah dEUS are our biggest musical export product ^^

We don't have an abundance of popular female fronted symphonic metal etc :D

Haha, Within Temptation is always the first that comes to mind.

But of course Belgium's biggest success in Holland are K3, how could I forget?
