Yeah, the production is a big reason of why I can't give this any higher than the 3.5 I have it at. I enjoy the majority of the songs here, and I do see it as the best post-Duke Genesis album. But it sounds so mechanical and lifeless at times

What a stupid review. The album's music was co-written by all 3(Banks, Rutherford and Collins). Each one was responsible for lyrics on 2-3 songs. Very much a team effort and NOT a Phil Collins solo album.

I still kinda hate the album (the pop songs minus land of confusion are trash) but DAMN Domino and tonight tonight tonight are brilliant. And The Brazilian it's an interesting instrumental.
