Black Cherry is my jam and was my first Goldfrapp, I prefer this but come back to that one more often lol. Seventh Tree not so sure, think I must have had a strong Phase with it

that album has some major fucking bops tho to be fair. Happiness sounds like a psychedelic beatles epic on like double the acid

Ah yeah so true + cologne cerrone houdini is smooth as hell. defo one of their better albums (probs better than black cherry but the highs don't grab me as hard as the t/t-Tiptoe combo that one has)

yeah cologne is a stand-out too. if it weren't for a couple duds i'd probably listen to it a lot more instead of just cherry-picking singles

Mmm I always found Little Bird killed the opening momentum pretty hard

I couldn't get into the 2 after this one at all, didn't get as far as Seventh Tree... maybe I should check.

This grew off me quickly. Even though it has all the right ingredients that screeaam Trif I still feel like I'm missing something.

Utopia is amazing though.

I already noticed this in your ratings (think I was checking for Son Lux re the DJ Shadow thread) and it shocked me greatly, expected you to be all over this one.

I find it weird too. Bought this album years ago, listened to it a bunch and never feel the need to revisit. My bf must be more into this than me, totally weird.

Maybe it's time to go at it again. That freak circus tune must be one of the reasons for sure.
