Amazing artist, amazing album. Can't wait to catch his set at the Ottawa Folk Festival.

yeah, this album is ridiculously good. "About As Helpful As You Can Be Without Being
Any Help At All" is such a great opener.

i'm kicking myself for missing so many of his shows but i live in Vancouver so i'll get plenty more chances. i'm likely seeing him November 9 with The Rural Alberta Advantage (who I also love, and haven't seen)

just saw this guy live for the second time in two months and picked this up on vinyl (got it signed, swag) and a new (?) single, title "Radicals"
I seriously am in love with this man. the emotion that bleeds through his songwriting and live performances humbles me as a fan of music.
His set this time around was much longer (headlining concert act instead of random 45-minute festival set) and he played 19 songs, including a new one (I think), and a long encore in which he gave the audience a choice of songs, then recounted when Radiohead made the Vancouver audience pick between Paranoid Android or Idioteque for their last song, and he was irate when he never got to hear Idioteque live.
anyway THIS GUYS IS A LEGEND and really deserves more praise. wake up you silly geese.

this band live: un-be-lievable. The album doesn't do their live show justice.
