Seriously man a 3 -_- outa 5 i'll admit they have gotten softer and pushed their screamer to the curb but really a 3 ? they have gotten alot catchier and the songwriting is tightened up alot too im listening to the whole thing now and it's not intolerable it's amazing

This review is just terrible. It seems as if you have something against a screamo band, if so, then why in the hell are you reviewing their music? Usually when i don't like a band, i simply do not listen to them.

Of course you are probably one of those people that wants every hard band to be mainstream so they can sell out for radio play. If you don't like harder music, then don't review it. Plain and simple. Go listen to Escape the Fate or Blink-182 if you can't handle screams, maybe that would suit your mainstream type of music.

Theyre not screamo.

"If you don't like harder music, then don't review it"

Telling people what not to do will get you nowhere.

Woah, Travis. Yeah, because all Sputnik ever listens to is mainstream music that isn't "screamo". I'm sure your perception of "screamo" is derived from your favorite scenexcore bands, amirite?

Dude, Travis. This isn't screamo. This is post-hardcore. Learn the difference.

Doubt it. Remember the Sum 41 thread? Fanboys google reviews and drop hate if they disagree with said assessment

@TravisAllen507, if you check my music scores you would see one of my favourite bands is Funeral For A Friend, and alongside this i love bands such as Your Demise. The fact is however, that this band does heavy badly. They seem to think heavy means shouting over each other while playing breakdowns that never break the 4/4 time signature. Good god.

Also, thank you Andacas, i knew people would diss this before they even gave it a chance.

I've sampled some of this on Youtube and it's pretty bad. "Hand In Hand With The Damned" is the best from what I've heard and it's still not that great. Probably one of the better songs I've ever heard from them, though.

Have you heard Circle VII? It's my favorite off this album.

I didn't really like The Emptiness, so this is better than that from what i've heard so far. Where Myth Fades to Legend is probably my favorite. These guys are kind of a guilty pleasure, since they're one of the first post-hardcore bands I liked, and they pretty much got me into the genre.
