I saw him at the Ottawa Bluesfest

i remember the crowd being super interactive. we were all shouting along to 'life's a bitch and then you die, that's why we get high, cause you never know when you're gonna go!'
this might be the best rap album ever

best hip hop album ever made yea

almost every song on here has been my favourite at some point. i also think the length is perfect. a lot of classic hip hop albums are encumbered by too much extraneous shit. i love that i can just put this on and chill out for 40 mins without ever wanting to switch it up.

Hmm.. Just got this. Really great and honest lyrics, although I'm still trying to wean myself off bullshit bling rap. Anyone have any recommendations for good hip-hop artists? (Preferably more classic stuff, but newer artists are also cool)

This isn't a hip-hop album; this is poetry backed by Mozart.

yeah for sure. plus i've mostly been listening to this album on speakers (not very good ones admittedly) over the years and it's one of those things where unless you're listening really intently to the beat you just won't catch
