Pete Sandoval double bass and fills are something out of this world. I suppose they are done without triggers? (did that exist in the 90´s?) If so, KUDOS, he is truly one of the most awesome drummers i´ve ever heard.

dont think he used triggers

Even with them, his creativity is out of this world. Whilst Trey has some riffs and solos that REALLY take you to the deepest wastelands, deserts and ancient ruins, its the drumming from Pete that make sure my jaw never leaves the floor.
"Morbid Angel demonstrated the difference between taking a genre to its limits and playing as if the limitations didn’t exist"
This a thousand times.

This and Altars = classics. Covenant is amazing too, but for me the first two are the best.
