Obviously, a copycat cannot be better than the original. Although I hate the fact that Whitechapel is joining the juncore.

There is no point in even checking out anything like this when you can listen to real death metal which is 200000000000 times better. See Decapitated, Psycroptic, or Immolation. Or good deathcore like Hester Prynne, Animosity, and Through the Eyes of the Dead.

Yeah, because Decapitated, Psycroptic, and Immolation are so similar to this, let alone one another.

This album is good if you're looking for chuggy ass modern death metal with swamp creature vocals, if you're checking out I Declare War for oldschool death metal or tech death riffs you're a freaking idiot.

I never could get into Psycroptic. Just their vocalist anyway. The exact opposite of this band, actually.

Which vocalist are you talking about? Listen to Scepter of the Ancients. That features their old vocalist "Chalky" who in my oppinion, is the greatest vocalist in metal period.

Whoever did vocals for, "The Isle of Disenchantment". Disliked em' a lot. I will be bewildered if it is Chalky, as I adored his vocals on that newer Spawn of Possession track.

I wasn't all that fond of "Scepter of the Ancients" either. Though, I can't for the life of me recall why. It has been a while since I gave it a listen. I will need to re-do this I see.

WOW, I love Scepter of the Ancients smoking. It is so technical, yet so heavy. I love everything about it. The vocals, are so varied and so many different styles are used. The drumming is insane. AND THE RIFFS! The riffs are so awesome.

And yes....... Chalky did the vocals on The Isle of Disenchantment. I am very much looking forward to the new Spawn of Possession album featuring him. I cant wait. You have any idea when it is dropping?

Oh, don't get me wrong. Instrumentally, I recall it being good. but the vocals were too much for me to
continue listening. But, it's like I said, I haven't given them a listen in ages. Time always warps
opinions, haha.

In terms of Spawn of Possession? I'm not too sure actually. It was meant to drop LAST year, if I
recall. It should be spectacular. Erland Caspersen on Bass? JESUS CHRIST, yes.

I recall hearing a newer track by them on their Bassist' Youtube account. But, I can't for the life of
me find it. Fuck.

Chalky tried too hard in Psychroptic.

Human Waste is 20 times better than the rest of this album.
