I was mad obsessed with Michael Jackson when I was younger, so I'd definitely agree with back then. But the title track on here easily trumps MJ's entire discography.

T/t is amazing.

It's clear that Prince just wanted to make a masterpiece of a song for everyone to remember him by. It's his 'Free Bird'.

That guitar tone on Purple Rain is perfect as well.

I've always loved that about Prince in general; the guitar tunes he generally uses really wail, carrying tons of emotion.

Yeh, he has some stonking jams.

'Bambi' always melts my face. 'I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man' is a good one too.

Haven't given "Bambi" a listen, but I Could Never Take The Place is gr8. "Housequake" is GOAT though

Adore is a total jam off that album.

Everything about that album is simply wonderful. Even the out-of-tune drum machine he uses. It would be my favourite Prince album if this album wasn't so damn perfect.

Same. this will always be my fave Prince record, but Sign O' The Times has more overall jams.

Good move, I need a copy on CD tbh. I don't think you can get it anywhere on the Internet.

I got in on CD before he took it off of Spotify all of a sudden one day. Got it in the bargain bin at a Walmart lol, best 5 bucks ever spent.
