Reaching Home still has some catchy guitarwork, but the vocal melodies are kinda corny.

Looking at this through the lens of 2011 is insane though, this sounds like some sort of 2015 TesseracT rip off in places but that year is when those guys brought out their first full length. Damn this band was so far ahead of the curve

Honestly prefer this to Silhouettes by a slim margin. I think it's incredibly underrated as a prog metal album. Band always had the handicap of being "djent" enough on paper to be in the genre with other artists that released albums that year or the year before/after and were still touring. Textures were relegated as an opener in places that weren't Europe. Bit of a shame, but they're back now and hopefully we get a new album of some cool ass tunes.
