"Wolves are known for being anti-moshing, so if that's you thing you're def gonna be bored lol."

i know, that's why i said it wasn't awesome. there wasn't as much emphasis on the atmosphere as i hoped

"I would pay solid dollar to see a Two Hunters in full set." They literally played 3/4 of this album this tour. It was advertised as the 10 year Diadem Anniversary I believe, but it was mostly the Two Hunters tour.

Haha, they were so about the atmosphere last night that the venue couldn't handle it.

Nothing screams atmosphere like an evacuation.

Maybe I should jam this today, only WitTR I haven't jammed I think.

Dea Artio was like a hundred times better live with the three-guitar setup. I could listen to that all night.

speaking of which, was there even a bassist? did the keys hold down the low end?

there was definitely some oomph...probably just Aaron laying waste to the kick drum.

no bassist, just three guitars, drums and keyboards. the drummer kicked ass too

No bassist in sight on this tour. Definitely dug the 3 guitars with their blue LEDs, yellow glowing lights, smoke for days, and that incense...

last time I saw them was outdoors in Prov, RI. no issues with smoke alarms at that show.

Tinnitus sucks hard, feels like constant bloody wind chimes in my ears.

Avantgarde? Color me more excited than I was before, even after hearing that your drum machine had returned from that black whole.

hahaha, don't make me bust out the Gamma Ray references (Pleb will probs join in)

it's not a machine, either. real drums by This Or the Apocalypse's former drummer. it's based on Algonquin mythology so it's more foresty folk metal with rain and acoustic duets in place of wind and dark ambience.

I feel oddly disrespectful talking about my music so much in a Wolves thread

Gamma Ray actually rule hard tho, keep the tinnitus at bay m/

Foresty folk black metal sounds nice, maybe you can do a split with Selvans also on Avantgarde. If you haven't jammed Lupercalia, it's a real pleasure.

that would be ace. I'll give them a look. Eismalsott reached out about doing a split, so I'm playing with some ideas for that currently.
