I like how these guys deliver every time on my expectations, I could care less if they are predictable. Their predictable sound is they're own and I feel your review Noctus, is an unfair jab at the band. It's like saying, "I'm going to criticize Agalloch for sounding like Agalloch". That's what I got from your review.

It's more than just predictability, anyone could tell you what this was going to sound like months before its release, it's the simple fact that they are getting lazy with their songwriting. Their influences aren't as visceral anymore and that takes away a huge amount of emotion and adds a whole lot of stagnation to their sound.

crysis said it better than I could have, it's not because they sound like WitTR (that's a good thing really), it's just that their songwriting is beginning to seem lazy so you know exactly what's going to happen.
