I need someone with a real eye for it to go over this review, something bugs me about it.

Unearth could be considered one of the metalcore genre’s essential bands alongside acts such as

Killswitch Engage and As I Lay Dying

What's wrong with this, aside from pointing out the obvious and using some rather typical examples?

Has to be one of the top 5 dumbest statements ever made on Sputnik. Let me ask you, IpodMastery,
and
I'm not being a dick when I ask this: Do you have any sources to back up your statements, or are you
just pulling shit out of your ass because you don't have a clue what you're talking about?

Edit: My fault, AfterTheBreakdown. I thought this was your review.

@FrankRed, Firstly i can see you really didn't mean to be a dick writing that, but notice how i used the word essential not exciting. I pay clear attention to these kind of sentences to avoid just that. If you was to ask someone/s to name 10 or so metalcore acts (yes this is a broad example) chances are that people are going to answer with a combination of these three.

"If you was to ask someone/s to name 10 or so metalcore acts"

It's more of a name 10 random metalcore acts, not the best of....

I mean if they said KSE's Alive or Just Breathing I would understand but the band sucks ass now

Unearth sucks now, As I Lay Dying was never good aside a couple songs.
