I just noticed this disc talks about ADHD and I feel stupid

the funfact, is that I loved this disc as a 19 yo prog-head when it came out, appreciated its concept and felt it very appropriate.... and at 31 plus, I got diagnosed with ADHD lol

talk about foreshadowing

should probably bump to 4.5 lol

Mega foreshadowing indeed! It would deserve the rating bump too...

mmmh I listened it in whole since it might have been a decade, and decided I am a prick, will leave this at 4 (which is high, I hardly do 4.5s). Was good to re-pick up these guys

Revisiting their discography and I just had to bump up the ratings a bit. This one is different, shorter than their previous albums, but has a certain power behind it. Tracks 3-5 are where it's at for me, Left Out in particular even if all of them are great.

Guess the staff review was deleted somehow at some point. Driven to Destruction and Left Out are two of their best. I used to think this was their weakest, but jamming the songs out of order helps cause Hyperactive is my least favorite.

I wasn't particularly fond of this one either at first. A few things still irk me a bit (I grow a bit impatient with a few songs here, like they seem a bit dragged out), but overall the mood and musicianship are on a very high level. Might just relisten to it again to confirm how I feel about it.

That intro guitar melody in Left Out is phenomenal, and it continues to build into such a stellar song. Just fantastic really.
