So hilarious they put this album under "Singles" in Spotify, so it's not with the main albums. It's waaay down the list. Not sure if that was intentional or not.

I remember reading in a statement by the band that when this came out they felt it was the best and most energetic and inspired thing they ever did and that they were really proud of it and couldn't ever come up with a follow-up. Of course many bands say this, but still, it was so heartfelt.
Also they just have been happy with finishing the trilogy with REM, having full artistic freedom again.

@Myth: Forgot to respond to your comment. Agreed with your points. It's like Piotr kicked into overdrive with his drumming, had some cool fills and interesting rhythms, but became uninspired after this album. Mariusz is taking lots of control, which isn't surprising, but he really shouldn't because Michal has a great musical mind.
@Trif: I wouldn't be surprised if they felt that way, energetic really is the right word. The writing sessions for this must have been so much fun to be a part of. Yeah you're right, the trilogy concept limited them from a sonic standpoint, but it was self imposed funnily enough
How any prog fan gives this album below 3.5 (I'd say 4 even) boggles my mind. Honestly this is top tier progressive metal, I don't know what else you want from it

Michael is a great musician and probably should contribute more. I am very keen on seeing how they will continue after Wasteland, now that there's a new permanent guitarist, though. I want to see what he brings to the table.
Haven't listened to the links yet, will do tommorow because zzzzzz, but if you describe them as electronic/ambient, then I guess Michael must be the one behind Night Sessions (I'm head over heels with them) and a large portion of their compilation album.
