There's enough for me to appreciate on Q2k and Tribe to let songs from those albums play if they come up on shuffle, and American Soldier was really good.

On the other hand, I deleted this album after posting the review.

You always find some cool moments on their records. But it's not enough for me. I'm a huge fan of their classic era. It's like comparing a Ferrari to a Opel Corsa.

I try to look at the bigger picture and realize that just because Q2K and Tribe lack a little compared to the classic albums, they're still enjoyable if taken on their own.

Yeah, very sad when the band's YouTube page has to resort to deleting the majority of comments trashing "Wot We Do - Scenes from the Caberet 2010." From 2,000 comments to 30.

^ lolol I seen that, I was one of the ones trashing it. They must be like Morbid Angel and get
butthurt. If they don't like it, maybe they should start making worthwhile albums again.

For some reason I decided to listen to this album a second time to today. I don't know what these guys were thinking? Maybe they figure now at their time in life (50s, I guess) they've moved on from metal. Thing is a lot of their fans from the 80's haven't. Found if I deleted all the crap songs I was left with about 5 that were listenable but in no way metal. I think we must accept there will never be a Mindcrime 2 (except in name only).

It's a pity a band like them to continue producing such kind of crap!
They should set an end and go on in separate ways.

Ps:i think that Geoff is responsible for the last albums in comparison with the other guys.

chilled out psychedelic albums maybe a pure car album
where 1 can be smoking joint and reaching nowhere
just around the block and back home.
