Singles from these types of bands usually boil down to either being bad or generic to keep the interest of the kiddies of the fanbase.

It's ABR, the new album isn't gonna be groundbreaking, but they're still a way above average metalcore band.

The new song was put together very well as far as structure goes, it had great flow. I thought the riffs and melodies were pretty good. Some of the faster 2/4 parts were nothing new but overall I liked it quite a bit.

I really dig the new song, and I think it's probably one of the more standard songs on the album. They

said they'd be trying a bunch of new stuff and I don't hear any of it on this song so I guess we have

to wait to hear how that works out.



On a side note: Do the mods hate ABR? It took that guy like 5 tries to get the album news up and now

they're shooting down the news about this song release.

Judging by Leveler, pushing musical boundaries to ABR means inserting random stuff into their music. The new song basically did that too.

Hell, if they basically rehash another Constellations to an extent while adding in some newer ideas I won't complain.

That one is a decent album. I actually don't mind this band if I listen to only a song or two. Any more than that and I get bored.

If bands stay the same, fans complain that they're stale and boring. if they try something new, they're ridiculed and fans tell them they should of stuck to their original sound.

ABR just need to quite abusing the shit out of C-minor. I don't like hearing the same fucking melodies used over and over in ABR and melodic metalcore in general, that's why I'm not really into it.

this band just bores the piss out of me. at least they did a few years ago. maybe I should try Constellations again now that i actually like some metalcore.

Yeah @Demi, Constellations is still really good. I hated this band until I heard that album.
