m/ I like in abhorrence dementia a little bit more because of its sheer grim cold mysticism but this is solid too.

I actually still need to jam that one. I did like 12 years ago but I don’t remember it at all.

Damn Hawks, that gave me goosebumps, and not the good kind.
I tried to imagine a timeline where I never heard Abhorrence, but that was too weird and scary for me.

It was almost a bad trip, you don't really want that. I had my heart beating like crazy, thought it was about to explode. Also the Demenetia album has that cool gongs and effects for complete madness, those ambient passages are genuinely creepy.

I subscribe to the idea that bad trips are eventually good for you. I only had one and it was terrifying, but I'm pretty sure it made me a better person.
That was without noticing my heartbeats though. Pot brownies do that to me, not fun.
But yeah somehow these albums are very psychedelic imo.

bm on acid just sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen

Not a big time symphonic bm guy, but this rules. It has this demented messed up thing going on that I can't quite seem to put my finger on.
