I think this is a fantastic record if you get past the cringe-worthy nature of Frank's folk 'n' roll + English approach. Seriously,
songs like "I Still Believe" or "One Foot Before the Other" sound so fucking ridiculous ("hear ye!") until you just let go of the
natural "this is bullshit English folk rock" reflex. Then this gets to be one of the hardest hitting old-school nostalgia rock
records you'll hear nowadays.
