Your review was purely about the music, and very straight-to-point. I liked it, but I also missed something about her message. It's an incredibly important aspect with her.

It's an incredibly important aspect with her.
I did mention that she's been on the social/political landscape recently with the whole gay rights thing, but I didn't really go into detail because a) the other reviews did a spectacular job of breaking that down and b) most of the songs have nothing to do with it.
If I was going to mention anything, I would just be agreeing that she's trying waaaaaaay too hard. It just seems a little contrived that she's almost completely embraced her new-found gay icon status and it's coming off as a gimmick, if anything else.
And it seems like the same 4-5 people are negging all the Born This Way reviews. What's the deal with that?
