This album is growing on me. I've been a fan of her, but not a blind fan. I know BTW is absurdly self-indulgent, but I really believe that Gaga's message has been passe through really effectively. I don't like "Bad Kids" either, but she can be subtle when she talks more about herself and less about others. And yeah, I'm talking about "Judas", "Bloody Mary", "The Electric Chapel". The album is a joy to her fans + a challenge for the new listeners.
It's not a perfect work. As said, I think it's a bit too cheesy sometimes. But I don't think it's a "spectacular failure". People expected too much of her.
Note: I respect your opinion, though, and the review was really well-written. Hope you respect mine too. ;)

In all honesty, I lost half of my interest the minute I heard Judas. The title track is the only one worth listening to.
